By now we all know that you get what you pay (and ask) for with a contest but it still never fails to inspire awe how shitty the process is. For a new airport being built in Mexico City, the government and airport authority are holding a contest — US$4,000 to the winner, rights granted on all submissions — to design its new logo. The results — 1,044 of them to be exact — are appallingly bad.
