COURTESY K11 ART FOUNDATION

The K11 Art Foundation in Hong Kong has added four new members to its staff: May Xue Mei, Venus Lau Sau Yee, Jeannie Wu, and Jilly Ding.

Xue, the former CEO of Beijing’s Ullens Centre for Contemporary Art, has been appointed director of education and institutional relations. Lau will join the foundation as artistic director, a role she previously held at Beijing’s OCT Contemporary Art Terminal. Together with May Xue, Lau will also take on the role of assistant general manager of K11, which will involve overseeing the installation of art projects in all of the foundation’s malls in northern China. Wu will serve as the acting cultural manager for the foundation, and Ding will be head of research and acquisitions.

The new appointments usher in “a new phase of development and direction for the foundation,” according to a release. To mark this new phase, the foundation will hold four exhibitions at its museum and mall during next year’s Shanghai Art Week.
