Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.

Today’s show: “José Leonilson: Empty Man” is on view at the Americas Society in New York through Saturday, February 3. The solo exhibition, the Brazilian artist’s first in the United States, presents works made between the mid-1980s and 1993, when the artist died of AIDS-related complications.
