Today’s show: “Jacob Lawrence: Lines of Influence” is on view at the SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia, through Sunday, February 4. The group exhibition, staged in celebration of the centennial of the artist’s birth, presents work by Lawrence alongside modern and contemporary artists, including Josef Albers, Romare Bearden, José Clemente Orozco, Marsden Hartley, Horace Pippin, Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Derrick Adams, Meleko Mokgosi, Hank Willis Thomas, Faith Ringgold, Jack Whitten, Sanford Biggers, and Kara Walker, among others.
